There are many times when I go out to eat just because I dont want to cook. I am exhausted and the thought of making dinner makes me nuts. When I go out to eat I have someone take care of everything, and I even have a chance to breath. This is why I always love when someone gives me a restaurant gift certificate for any occasion.

When my husband was in a wedding a few years ago, the groom gave him a restaurant gift certificate for Red Lobster. We saved it until we really needed a night out away from everything. Though the restaurant gift certificate didnt cover the whole meal, it did allow us to have a meal we wouldnt normally want to spend a lot of money on. In the end we only paid a few dollars over the price of the certificate plus what we left for a tip.

You might even want to get a small restaurant gift certificate for those who you might want to thank around the holidays like the your mail carrier, your paper boy or girl, or someone like your favorite hair dresser. They make great gifts even if they are only for five or ten dollars.
