Children find the funniest things to be of great importance. Kids beach towels are the perfect example of how something little can mean a lot to a child.

My niece is not very fond of water in general. She turns her nose up at the mention of a bath and even though my sister tries to make water activities as fun as possible it never seemed to make much of a difference to my niece. However, one of the kids beach towels really caught her interest.

We decided to make the family trip to the beach extra special this year and we chose to purchase a Harry Potter kids beach towel for my niece. She is crazy about the movies and she cant stop talking about the subject. Her collection of Harry Potter toys is pretty impressive as well.

When I saw the Harry Potter kids beach towels I had to buy one for her.

She immediately fell in love with the item and she spent the entire trip talking about how she couldnt wait to use the kids beach towels. We thought that was great but we never realized that the item could be used as a reward for her swimming efforts. We were thrilled to find that she gained a new interest in swimming just so she could use her towel.

At first I thought that the item would pose a little bit of a problem. She would want to sit on the kids beach towels rather than jump into the water. However, her clever mother would not let that happen. The childrens beach towel stayed in the car until my niece tried a little swimming session with her father.

Fortunately, she was more than happy to comply and once she spent about five minutes or so in the water she was allowed to visit her great new possession. The time went by quickly and she was very ready to spend time with her towel. After sitting on the kids beach towel for a moment she decided that it was time to try the water again.

My sister bought a couple more Harry Potter kids beach towels for my niece. She uses them to encourage her to spend quality time in the bath and the approach seems to be working. It is funny how one little item can make all of the difference to a child.

Although no sculptured marble should rise to their memory, nor engraved stone bear record of their deeds, yet will their remembrance be as lasting as the land they honored.
