Keychain Flashlights

There are a few things in life that we all need. I call them the basic necessities. You know, that stuff you tote around with you every day, regardless of where you're headed.

Your keychain is certainly one, your cell phone is mandatory, your purse or wallet, and let's not forget the nifty keychain flashlights. These can work wonders on a regular basis. Think about it! How often could you use a little light? Half the time people fumble with their keys in the dark of night, trying to find out which one is for what. This is a problem of the past.

Ever since I was in high school, I've carried one of the finer keychain flashlights. The great thing about these now days is they're constructed with LEDs. Then again, so are tons of other electronic devices. LEDs are powerful little lights that make life that much easier. If only everything worked this well.

Now, the reason I take advantage of keychain flashlights is because they've helped me out on a number of occasions. I literally can't tell you how many times I fumbled with my keys in college. Trying to find a lock or specific key when you've had a few beers is not all that simple. Sometimes a handy bright light is required. Fortunately keychain flashlights are so small and compact that they fit right into your pocket with ease. Now days I even take this to the next level. Aside from my keychain light, I carry a Surefire Defender. This is a compact tactical flashlight constructed from aircraft aluminum. These devices are tough as can be and great for any situation. And the cool part is they clip right in the pocket of your choice. The Defender in particular was designed for self-defense applications as well. It can be used for striking and hitting your assailant with a blinding beam of light. In my opinion it's worth every penny.

You'll find countless keychain flashlights on the web. One thing I suggest you look for is that they're constructed with LEDs. This will offer you a much stronger and cleaner light beam.
