When I got married, I did a lot of the things my own way. Though I found a lot of great information online, and knew where to get the best bargains, there were just certain things that I wanted to do on my own.

It is remarkable how, overnight, a quiet mature lady can learn to sit cross-legged on the floor and play a tin drum, quack like a duck, sing all the verses of The Twelve Days Of Christmas, make paper flowers, draw pigs, and sew on the ears of severely-injured teddy bears.

I have always been like that, and my husband-to-be was not that surprised. I saved a fortune on my wedding dress because I chose one that was a few seasons old, and I thought about my guests before I thought about what I wanted. I even made my own wedding veil.

After I found a bargain on the wedding dress I loved, I had a little extra money to spend, but that didnt mean I was going to spend it. I could have bought a wedding veil that was very nice, but I couldnt see spending the money on it when I could make one myself that I would love.

It did take me a while to get it right, but the wedding veil I made was very nice, and fit my personality perfectly. I didnt want something hanging over my face, and that did make things a little easier.

I bought a few years of tulle to make my own wedding veil, and then used a hair clip to attach it. It took me a few tries to get it right, but in the end I was very proud of what I had done. No one would know that it was homemade, and I could then do what I wanted with it. I found a butterfly in a craft store that matched the ones on my wedding invitations, and I added that to the bottom of my wedding veil. My friends loved it, and said it looked like a butterfly was following me around all day on my wedding day.

If you want to save money on your own wedding veil, dont be afraid to make one on your own. Of all the things you may want to have, this is one of the easiest to make, and you can ensure you have what you want when you do it yourself. Some people dont have time to do it, or they find one in the store that they just have to have, and thats okay too. The whole point is to be happy with what you have, and to make your day what you want it to be. Your wedding veil will be more important to you than to anyone else, so be sure to do exactly as you please.
