Hornet Alarm

You bite nervously at your bottom lip, and proceed toward the vehicle. It's easy to spot, because only a few other cars still remain. Suddenly an echo causes you to jolt. You shoot glances in all directions, but see no one. Your stride now increases. As you swallow that lump in your throat, your hand jerks the car keys from your purse. Now you're prepared to thumb the UNLOCK button and dive into the vehicle. It's the only thing riding your thoughts. If you could just get to the car quicker. Then it happens. A dark figure pops up next to your vehicle as you draw closer. Immediately you punch the hornet alarm button on your keypad, and the scream resounds from the car without mercy.

When you realize the value of all life, you dwell less on what is past and concentrate on the preservation of the future.

The dark figure jumps in his boots and bolts for cover. You on the other hand, dive safely into your car and lock the doors. You click off the alarm and peel out of there with a sigh of relief.

When we reached the vehicle, we noticed that the face was hanging off of the radio. The alarm system saved the day.
