Laser cosmetic surgery is not the same as an evasive facelift in the case of facial resurfacing. The results are not nearly as drastic, which is a good thing in my opinion. Laser cosmetic surgery does not lift the skin nor does it remove sagging excess tissue. When you address problems like extra skin and sagging areas of the face, then you are most likely going to look towards a more evasive measure.

However, it is effective in making the appearance of lines fade away and laser lifts are excellent at making the skin appear younger. Some claim that the procedure can make you appear a decade or two younger than you are. This is hard to imagine but it really has me interested in looking to laser cosmetic surgery over a facelift any day.

In addition to being non-evasive, laser cosmetic surgery can also be used to target certain trouble spots. Maybe you have wonderful, smooth skin everywhere except for around your mouth. You can have a facial resurfacing procedure that targets the mouth. The result is smoother, younger looking skin right where you need it.

With all of the hype over plastic surgery these days it is nice to see a non-evasive approach to skincare. Hopefully, laser cosmetic surgery is the first step to the end of the traditional facelift. This procedure is a safe, effective alternative that leaves you looking younger while still looking like yourself.
