This can be rather simple, and you dont have to spend a lot of money to do it if you dont want to. However, some things are more pricey than others. You could have a backyard fountain if you wish, and what you want to spend on it will be up to you. You can make your own if you have inclination, and it wont have to cost you a lot of money.

There are some beautiful and very large backyard fountains you can buy, but they wont look good in a yard that is on the small size. They should be the centerpiece of a rather large yard. If you have a smaller yard and still want to have a backyard fountain, you can of course, but choose something that is not quite so large.

Perspective is the key. Imagine the fountain you like in your yard and see if it would overwhelm the space. You dont have to have a large one to have a nice one, that is the key to keep in mind.

You can make your own backyard fountain, though I couldnt tell you how to do it. I do know that it is a rather easy process and does not have to cost a lot of money. Many have them in their yard as a small addition to the stuff they have already done, and some have a small pond with fish, usually goldfish, and the fountain becomes a way for the water to keep moving. This always looks great and can make a great centerpiece for your favorite outdoor relaxation area.

Whether you want to buy a backyard fountain or if you want to make one on your own, help is as close as your nearest home improvement store. If they dont have what you need, you can certainly look online to see what you can find. You can usually find a backyard fountain that can be shipped to you, though some are just too large for that, or you can find the parts you need to build your own. You can also find companies that specialize in building them for you in your yard if you have something very special in mind. Remember to keep an eye on shipping prices when shopping.
